Parking, access and facilities
Parking
The Trust’s 2026 access statement lists Middle Beach car park at BH19 3AQ as a separate alternative to Knoll Beach. Follow the sign for the correct car park rather than assuming Knoll’s facilities are beside it. [1]
Studland has mixed sand, heath and woodland terrain, and some routes are affected by soft sand or seasonal flooding. Knoll Beach is the Trust’s most accessible location; do not assume its level paths or beach matting also exist at Middle Beach. [2]
The Trust lists a refill station at Middle Beach. Bring a bowl for the dog and check that facilities are operating before relying on them. [3]
Middle Beach facilities
The Trust specifically lists toilets and accessible toilets at Middle Beach. Its Changing Places room and main beach-wheelchair provision are at Knoll Beach; check availability at the correct location. [4]
Sand-coloured outlines show mapped beach areas, including tidal sand. They do not show dog-zone boundaries or the current waterline. Check the linked local guidance and tides.
